Role Purpose
The Engineering Draught /Draft Engineer Specialistis responsible for preparing, revising, and maintaining accurate engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation to support product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer requirements.

Working under the guidance of the Engineering Manager and senior engineers, the role converts engineering concepts, customer specifications, and technical requirements into detailed manufacturing drawings that comply with company standards, customer specifications, applicable engineering standards, and quality management system requirements.

The Engineering Draught /Draft Engineer/Specialist plays an key role in ensuring engineering documentation is accurate, properly controlled, revision-managed, and readily available to support manufacturing, product development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Engineering Drafting & CAD

Design Prepare accurate 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models using approved CAD software.




Produce detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with engineering standards and company drafting practices.
Interpret engineering sketches, customer drawings, technical specifications, standards, and design requirements.
Apply appropriate dimensions, tolerances, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T;) where applicable.
Ensure drawings contain complete manufacturing information, including materials, finishes, heat treatment, coatings, and special characteristics.
Maintain high levels of drawing accuracy and consistency.

2. Engineering Documentation & Document Control

Maintain engineering drawings in accordance with document control procedures.
Manage engineering drawing revisions using approved revision control processes.
Ensure obsolete drawings are withdrawn and superseded versions are properly released.
Maintain engineering databases, drawing registers, and document archives.
