As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and integration of turbomachinery Packaging systems.
The candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in engineering / design execution and associated applications. Experience should include significant Mechanical design and engineering involving Turbomachinery Packaging System design supporting industrial gas turbine packaging and associated gas compression and power generation systems engineering and design.
In addition,
the candidate should demonstrate knowledge of discipline-related industry standards, including ASME B31.3. Comprehensive knowledge with Creo applications and robust knowledge of design and drafting techniques to include fabrication drawings. Experience with Solar Turbines strongly preferred.
This includes:
- Designing packaging systems and equipment layouts.
- Selecting and integrating components into complete packages.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives, new product development, and operational optimization to enhance system availability and reliability.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Independently investigate mechanical, hydro, shop, and field issues related to Solar Turbine products packaging systems.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to a wide range of shop and field problems.
- Responsibilities to develop P&ID; for Gas Fuel, Lube Oil, Liquid Fuel, Air Supply, Start, Compressor Seal
