As an Assistant Manager in Insurance Discover Billing Services Operations, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operational management of a team of 10-15 billing coordinators/analysts based in India. You will ensure accurate identification of correct insurance, proper crediting and loading of coverage to patient accounts, and timely follow-up with payers on behalf of FinThrive’s clients. You will focus on executing established processes, managing team performance, and supporting capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives defined by senior leadership.

This role is hands‑on and delivery‑focused, with accountability for team productivity, quality, and adherence to agreed SLAs, while collaborating with on‑shore counterparts and cross‑functional teams.

What You Will Do

Team Management and Daily Operations

Lead and manage a team of India-based ID Billing coordinators/analysts to execute day‑to‑day billing activities accurately and within timelines.
Assign and balance workloads across the team based on volume, complexity, and client priorities,



using established capacity and staffing models developed by senior leadership.
Monitor daily and weekly operational dashboards and queues; intervene proactively to address backlogs, quality trends, or SLA risks.
Conduct regular team huddles and one‑on‑ones to review performance, provide coaching, and reinforce process standards and best practices.

Extensive Revenue Cycle Management Experience

Hands-on experience troubleshooting eligibility discrepancies, resolving claim denials, and optimizing clean claim rates.
Deep knowledge of payer-specific rules, coverage nuances, and requirements impacting billing accuracy and reimbursement.
Proven experience in end-to-end RCM workflows including insurance eligibility verification, advantages investigation, prior authorization coordination, and claims submission.
