Key Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design of robotic grippers, humanoid subsystems, and diagnostic instrument hardware.
Create detailed CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings with full GD&T; specification.
Run FEA simulations for structural, thermal, and fatigue analysis on critical components.
Own tolerance stack-up analysis across multi-part mechanical assemblies.
Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews with vendors and in-house teams.
Build and test functional prototypes; iterate designs based on validation and field data.
Coordinate with electronics, firmware, and industrial design teams for fully integrated product builds.
Mentor junior mechanical engineers and review their design work.
