SAP Senior SD Tax Process Expert Experience
- 7+ years of overall experience in SAP SD with strong expertise in SAP Tax processes.
- Experience in global SAP S/4HANA implementation and rollout programs.

Role Overview

Serve as the SAP SD Tax Process Expert responsible for designing, governing, and deploying tax-compliant SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes across global template rollout projects. Work closely with business stakeholders, regional tax experts, Vertex teams, and IT to ensure country-specific legal compliance and successful deployment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support SAP S/4HANA template design and rollout for SD Tax processes.
- Gather and document country-specific tax and legal requirements.
- Conduct workshops with process owners, tax experts, governance teams, and implementation teams.
- Drive template-driven rollout activities ensuring compliance with global and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with Vertex, Foreign Trade (FT), Global Services (GS), and IT teams to implement tax requirements.




- Review solution deliverables and validate compliance before deployment.
- Coordinate user acceptance, sign-off, and stakeholder approvals.
- Prepare presentations, documentation, and process artifacts related to tax compliance.
- Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous process improvements.

Must Have SAP Functional Expertise
- 7+ years of experience in SAP SD with solid focus on Tax processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC/R3.
- Strong understanding of SAP SD Order-to-Cash processes and their impact on tax determination.
- Experience in SAP tax configuration, tax procedures, tax codes, and tax-related master data.
- Experience with global template-based SAP rollout programs.
- Knowledge of country-specific indirect tax regulations (GST/VAT/Sales Tax) and statutory compliance.
- Experience gathering and documenting legal tax requirements from business stakeholders.
