Accountabilities:





As a Mainframe SMP/E & z/OSMF Expert, you will be responsible for managing, supporting, and improving enterprise mainframe software environments. You will apply your technical expertise to ensure effective software lifecycle management, automation, and system reliability.
- Manage and support SMP/E processes for mainframe software installation, maintenance, and updates.
- Configure and work with z/OSMF and REST APIs to support software management activities.
- Perform installation, customization, and troubleshooting of z/OS and ISV software components.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and REXX to improve operational efficiency.
- Support software testing activities, including functionality, robustness, and performance validation.
- Work with Git and USS/OMVS environments to manage code, configurations, and system processes.
