What You’ll Be Doing:
Strategic Architecture & Design:
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise middleware architectures that
are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business goals.
Architect and deploy next-generation middleware solutions using IBM WebSphere
(traditional & Liberty), Tomcat, Mulesoft, and other middleware tools.
Develop best practices for middleware deployment, clustering, load balancing,
security, and failover strategies.
Robust skills implementing HA / DR solutions.
Hands-On Deployment & Management:
Take ownership of middleware environments, ensuring optimal configuration,
patching, upgrades, and performance tuning.
Manage middleware on Linux/Unix platforms,
including system tuning, scripting,
automation, and troubleshooting.
Build and maintain automation scripts to streamline deployment, configuration,
and operational workflows.
Security & Compliance:
Design and implement security protocols, including SSL/TLS, access controls, and
compliance standards.
Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement remediation
plans.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for middleware systems to ensure high
availability and performance.
Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, implementing long-term
solutions.
Cloud & Hybrid Integration:
Extend middleware solutions into cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud) with
hybrid architectures.
Optimize deployment strategies for cloud scalability, security, and
cost-efficiency.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Act as a technical mentor for ju
