Key Responsibilities
- Domain expertise in banking operations, processes, and systems to support functional testing of applications.
- Collaborate with QA teams to design, review, and validate test cases based on banking workflows.
- Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in banking application functionality.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for banking domain knowledge across projects.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on banking processes and compliance requirements.
- Participate in SIT and UAT cycles for banking applications and integration testing.
- Support production issues, change requests,
and enhancements post-go-live.
- Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing within the QA team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including business analysts, developers, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of testing cycles.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
- B.E / B.Tech (any stream) OR MSc(IT) / MCA from a recognized university approved by AICTE.
- Candidates with BSc/MSc/BCom/BA (other streams) will also be considered if they have 15+ years of banking experience.
- Certifications:
- CAIIB / JAIIB / DBF from IIBF.
Experience Criteria
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in functional testing of banking applications/systems.
- OR 15+ years of experience in banking operations/domain expertise (testing training will be provided).
