We are hiring Substation Protection & Control - Design Engineer for Navi Mumbai

Main responsibilities include creating electrical protection & control design deliverables. Projects range in size, complexity, and voltage class from small distribution equipment upgrades to large transmission projects. This position can influence the future of the resiliency, reliability, and economic operation of the electric grid.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or masters degree in electrical .
- Minimum three years of experience & maximum experience in Substation.
- Schematic drawing
- Experience in Relay Testing and Control/Protection Scheme Testing.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Substation 3D Design tools.
- Experience in Control Panels, Relays

Candidate Requirements:
- Robust understanding of standard engineering techniques and procedures with the ability to apply them effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work methodically and analytically in quantitative problem-solving environments, with proven critical thinking skills.




- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong overall computer skills.
- Strong diligence, organization, collaboration, facilitation, team-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of Substation Automation Systems (IEC 61850).

Role And Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include leading or executing the following assignments:
- Prepare proposals and develop project scope, including conceptual designs and execution plans.
- Estimate engineering costs, man-hours, and project schedules.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings for EHV AIS & GIS substation projects (33kV to 765kV).
- Design protection and control systems, including:
- Panel arrangements
- One-line/single-line and three-line diagrams
- AC schematics and DC elementary diagrams
- Equipment and relay panel wiring diagrams
- Cable and conduit schedules
- Bills of Materials
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare
