Responsibilities As a Plant Automation Engineer at Micron, you will take on a
meaningful role in making sure our operations run flawlessly. Your
responsibilities will include:
Leading the automation strategy for our manufacturing plant, focusing on
improving efficiency and productivity.
Hand on Experience in Working & installation and ongoing support of automatic
material handling systems, AMHS, ASRS, robots, COBOTS, and manufacturing
automations. Leading, supporting & coordinating the development and deployment
of AGV/AMR systems to streamline plant logistics. Person should be able to
leverage Artificial intelligence for automaton sustainability.
Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing
quality products at minimum costs. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to
determine and implement world-class automation solutions. Ensuring all
automation processes comply strictly with industry standards and safety
regulations. Providing leadership and mentorship to the automation team,
encouraging a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of
