Backend Engineer (Node.js + Kafka & AI Integration)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to design and scale high-throughput financial technology systems. You will build event-driven architectures and integrate artificial intelligence capabilities into core banking services.



This role focuses on creating resilient, real-time data pipelines for a major banking client.
Key Responsibilities
Design Event Pipelines: Build high-throughput, fault-tolerant real-time streaming applications using Apache Kafka.
Develop Microservices: Write clean, scalable, and secure enterprise-grade backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.
Integrate AI Capabilities: Connect LLMs, predictive models, and AI-driven automation tools into backend workflows.
Optimize Data Flows: Manage Kafka topics, partitions, consumer groups, and schema registries for financial transactions.
Ensure High Security: Implement strict banking-grade compliance, data encryption, and secure API authorization layers.
Monitor Infrastructure: Set up deep observability, logging, and tracing using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK. [1, 2, 3]
