Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for CAE applications and custom workflows.
Execute end-to-end QA activities across the software development lifecycle to ensure high product quality and release readiness.
Do Python scripting or CPP coding
Review requirements, user stories, and design documents to ensure testability and develop effective test scenarios and automated test suites.
Design and perform manual and automated functional, stress, and performance testing, with clear documentation of results and findings.
Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and provide clear reproduction steps using logs and diagnostic tools.
Collaborate with Development, DevOps, Product Management, and Documentation teams to support quality objectives and timely issue resolution.
Proactively translate manual test cases into efficient automated scripts to improve coverage, speed up feedback cycles, while designing tests that effectively validate new and existing functional.

Requirements

Technical Skills Required:

Primary Skills:





Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Perl.

Hands-on automation experience with tools and frameworks like Ranorex, Selenium, Squish or similar.Positive understanding of SDLC

Exposure or experience with software development for desktop simulations products like Hyperworks, and/or FEA solver tools (e.g. OptiStruct, NASTRAN, ABAQUS, RADIOSS, etc.)
Required Experience & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, or a related technical field

Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering

Domain Knowledge: Exposure to or experience with desktop simulation products such as Simcenter (CAD/CAE software)

Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python and/or C, or similar

Automation Experience: Hands-on experience with frameworks/tools such as Pytest, Ranorex, Selenium, or similar
