To provide frontline leadership for Potroom operations by ensuring safe and productive shift execution, optimal manpower deployment, continuous monitoring of potline performance, and timely metal evacuation to achieve production, safety, and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, PPE requirements, and housekeeping norms.
- Lead shift operations and optimize manpower deployment to manage absenteeism and maintain production continuity.
- Monitor approximately 200 pots per potline, ensuring process stability and timely corrective actions.
- Ensure timely and safe metal evacuation as per casting requirements.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Casting, Carbon, and Rectifier teams for seamless operations.
- Drive process discipline, operational efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain shift records and ensure effective shift handover.
