Position: Purchase Executive

Role Overview

The Purchase Executive will manage day-to-day purchasing activities, ensuring materials, goods, and services are procured at the right quality, price, and delivery timeline. The role involves vendor coordination, purchase-order processing, negotiation, documentation, and collaboration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers for required materials and services.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, quality, delivery terms, and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders after required approvals.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Follow up on pending orders, shortages, replacements, and quality-related concerns.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Coordinate with stores, accounts, production, and other departments on material requirements.




- Monitor inventory levels and support timely replenishment of stock.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts before submitting them to accounts.
- Develop and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and ensure compliance with company purchasing policies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor management preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/accounting software.
- Knowledge of purchase processes, vendor sourcing, and basic inventory management.
