Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering

Role Summary

The Senior Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of pressure parts manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with IBR requirements, applicable international codes, customer specifications, and quality standards. The role requires extensive knowledge of welding, fabrication, dimensional control, NDT coordination, heat treatment, hydro testing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute production activities for pressure parts to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Stores, Procurement, and Inspection teams.
- Optimize manpower and machine utilization.




- Improve productivity through Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Ensure fabrication follows approved WPS/PQR.
- Verify fit-up, alignment, dimensional tolerances, and weld sequence.
- Ensure compliance with Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
- Ensure compliance with code requirements.
- Maintain complete manufacturing records including Material Traceability, Heat Numbers, Welding Logs, Welder Qualification Records, NDT Reports, PWHT Records, Hydro Test Records, IBR Documentation

Mandatory Technical Knowledge:

Strong knowledge of GTAW, SAW, FCAW and GMAW welding is preferred

The candidate should possess robust working knowledge of the following codes and standards:
- ASME Section VIII Div.1 & Div.2
- ASME Section IX
- Indian Boiler Regulations
- AWS D1.1 (Structural Welding)
- ISO 9606 (Welder Qualification)
- ISO 15614 (Procedure Qualification)
