Job Description (JD) – PCR Junior (Production Control Room)

Job Title: PCR Junior

Department: Production / Broadcast Operations

Reporting To: PCR Executive / Production Manager

Location: Hyderabad

Job Summary

The PCR Junior supports the Production Control Room (PCR) team in managing live and recorded productions. The role involves operating broadcast equipment, coordinating with production teams, monitoring audio and video quality, and ensuring smooth execution of studio operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the operation of the Production Control Room during live and recorded productions.

Support switching between video and audio sources as directed.

Monitor audio, video, and graphics for quality and continuity.

Coordinate with producers, anchors, camera operators, and technical teams.

Ensure all broadcast equipment is functioning properly before production.

Assist in recording, playback, and archiving of production content.

Report technical issues promptly to the PCR Executive or Engineering team.

Maintain production logs and operational records.





Follow broadcast schedules and production timelines.

Adhere to company SOPs and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, Broadcasting, or a related field.

Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply.

Required Skills

Basic understanding of broadcast and studio operations.

Familiarity with video and audio production equipment.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure during live broadcasts.

Basic computer knowledge.

Solid attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, or holidays as required.
