CLIENT: Global Engineering entity undertaking wide portfolio of engineering services in Power Transmission & Distribution projects in the Middle East to enhance high-voltage electricity grids. Looking for Electrical Design Engineering Leader.

Job Purpose

Ensure that all engineering activities are well within time schedules, budgeted cost,quality and optimization.As a Project Engineering Manager, incumbent will ensure that all the design & engineering activities of the project adhere to quality, cost budgets and timelines. Perform inter-discipline coordination (with Civil, Structural, MEP & Instrumentation) in addition to man-hours allocation of different roles in the project.

Key Drivers:
- Lead end-to-end engineering for multiple substation EPC projects.
- Manage and mentor engineering teams across Primary, Secondary, Vendor Engineering and Design.
- Ensure timely delivery of engineering outputs aligned with project schedules.
- Drive design optimization, value engineering and cost savings.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Civil,



Structural, MEP, Supply Chain, Contracts and Project Execution teams.
- Review engineering deliverables, vendor technical submissions and customer approvals.
- Champion BIM implementation, digitalization and engineering standardization.

Incumbent Profile:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- 20+ years of experience, with strong exposure to engineering design of AIS/GIS substations up to 765 kV.
- Extensive knowledge of Primary & Secondary Engineering, Protection & Control, SCADA, Earthing, Lightning Protection, Cabling and EHV equipment.
- Proven leadership experience managing large engineering teams across multiple EPC projects.
- Robust stakeholder management and customer-facing capabilities
