About the Role
Dainik Bhaskar is looking for an Influencer Marketing Lead to drive distribution of the DB Hindi News App across Uttar Pradesh through influencer partnerships. This role is focused exclusively on the app — not the print newspaper — and is responsible for getting DB's exclusive journalism, including investigations and ground reports from across the state, in front of new audiences through organic and paid influencer collaborations.
What You'll Do
- Identify, onboard, and manage a network of nano and micro influencers across UP, with occasional collaboration with macro influencers and rare engagement with mega influencers
- Design and execute both organic (barter/relationship-led) and paid influencer collaboration models
- Work closely with DB's editorial and content teams to identify high-impact stories — exclusives, investigations, ground reports — suited for influencer amplification
- Brief influencers on story context and angles to ensure content is shared accurately and compellingly, without diluting journalistic integrity
- Track and report on influencer campaign performance (reach, engagement, app installs/downloads) and continuously optimize creator selection and content strategy
- Build long-term relationships with regional creators across UP's key cities and districts
- Stay on top of trending regional content, local creator ecosystems, and platform-specific best practices (Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
What We're Looking For
- At least 18 months of hands-on experience in influencer marketing, ideally with nano/micro creator networks
- A decent editorial understanding of news — able to judge what makes a story shareable and how to frame it for creator audiences without misrepresenting facts
