Role Summary - We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Automation Tester with 1-4 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of software testing concepts and a strong interest in automation testing, specifically using Playwright for web applications and Appium for mobile apps.
You will work closely with senior QA engineers, developers, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases in an agile workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Testing
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using:
- Playwright for Web Automation
- Appium for Android & iOS Mobile Automation
- Participate in creating End-to-End and Regression automation suites.
- Identify test cases suitable for automation and maintain reusable test modules.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews.
- Contribute to automation documentation, including automation plans, help documents, and checklists.
- Follow QA best practices, coding guidelines,
and version control processes.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills
- Good understanding of automation testing tools/frameworks.
Good knowledge of:
- JavaScript/TypeScript (for Playwright automation)
- Object-oriented programming fundamentals
- Familiarity with the following:
- Playwright (preferred) or any web automation tool (Selenium, Cypress)
- Appium (preferred) for mobile automation and Appium Inspector
- API testing concepts (Postman, REST APIs)
- Git, GitHub/Bitbucket for version control
- Basic CI/CD concepts (GitHub Actions/Jenkins plus point)
- Understanding of mobile and web application workflows.
- Appium Inspector
- Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) or other automation design patterns.
- Understanding of mobile device farms like BrowserStack/AWS device farm.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
