Position: Day Care Teacher
Department: Academics / Student Care
Location: Winmore Academy Whitefield CBSE School Campus
Reporting To: Day Care Coordinator / Principal

Job Summary

The Day Care Teacher is responsible for providing a protected, nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment for students enrolled in the school's day care program. The teacher will supervise children beyond regular school hours, assist with homework, organize recreational activities, and ensure the overall well-being of students in accordance with CBSE school policies and child safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Student Care & Supervision
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all children under care.
- Maintain constant supervision of students during day care hours.
- Monitor attendance and maintain daily records.
- Support children with their daily routines and needs.

Academic Support
- Assist students in completing homework and school assignments.
- Provide age-appropriate academic guidance and support.




- Encourage reading habits and independent learning.

Activity Planning
- Organize creative, educational, and recreational activities.
- Conduct storytelling, art and craft, games, music, and indoor activities.
- Promote social interaction, teamwork, and positive behavior.

Child Development
- Observe and support children's emotional, social, and physical development.
- Identify and report any behavioral or developmental concerns.
- Foster confidence, discipline, and good values among students.

Health & Safety
- Follow all child protection, PoSH, and POCSO guidelines.
- Ensure classroom cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Respond appropriately to minor injuries and emergencies.
- Coordinate with the school nurse and administration when required.

Parent Communication
- Provide regular updates to parents regarding student well-being and progress.
- Address parent concerns professionally and promptly.
- Maintain positive relationships
