Role & responsibilities
- Responsible to meet the high-level satisfaction of internal and external customers
- Responsible for to allocate specific duties and ensure completion of the same by the section in charges
- Responsible for conserve and optimum utilization of raw materials
- Responsible to liaise with BIS and other government authorities at the time of audits, inspection or visits
- Responsible to ensure quality of the product and review quality, production, raw material consumption, energy conservation and initiate steps for cost saving and efficiency.
- Responsible to mentor and nurture technical skills of the team
- Responsible to ensure generation of MIS Reports
- Responsible to ensure NABL& IMS accreditations
- Responsible for good housekeeping and implementation of 5S
- Responsible to ensure that all employees of the department strictly follow the safety norms and procedures. Safety precautions such as wearing belt while working in heights, wearing PPES etc., should be ensured without fail.



Should ensure the contractor employees also follow the protected methods of working.
- Responsible for identification of training needs of the employees and ensure the necessary training is important both internal and external
- Responsible for co-ordination with Head Office and other departments for effective function of department
- Responsible for process improvements by implementing the approved projects.
- Responsible for Quality process improvement and ensuring quality product
- Responsible to check the quality coal and limestone and ensure availability as per targets.
- Responsible for quality tests of raw materials, intermediate and finished products and suggest corrective actions to ensure quality product.
- Responsible to ensure nil NC’s in the audit.
- Responsible to organize technical and product quality and superior features to construction professionals, dealers, masons etc. in co-ordination with marketing department.
