Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
AIOps / Splunk Observability Engineer
with
8+ years
of IT experience to design, implement, and support enterprise observability and monitoring solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in
Splunk, Observability, AIOps, OpenTelemetry
, and modern monitoring platforms to improve system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise observability and AIOps solutions.
- Configure and maintain
Splunk Enterprise
,
Splunk Observability Cloud
, and monitoring dashboards.
- Integrate logs, metrics, traces, and alerts using
OpenTelemetry
and other telemetry tools.
- Develop dashboards, alerts, and reports for proactive monitoring and incident management.
- Optimize monitoring strategies to improve application performance and system reliability.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, Infrastructure,



and Application teams to implement observability best practices.
- Troubleshoot monitoring issues and support production environments.
- Automate monitoring deployments using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills
- 8+ years
of IT experience with strong expertise in
Splunk Enterprise
and
Splunk Observability Cloud
.
- Experience with
AIOps, Observability, Monitoring, and Incident Management
.
- Hands-on experience with
OpenTelemetry
, logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Knowledge of
Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo
, or similar observability tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (
AWS, Azure, or GCP
) and Kubernetes environments.
- Familiarity with scripting using
Python, Bash, or PowerShell
.
- Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Splunk certifications are preferred.
- Experience with
ITSM/ITOM
, DevOps, or SRE practices.
- Exposure to automation tools such as
