Purpose of the Role

To ensure smooth operation of plant machinery and electrical systems by carrying out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities, minimizing downtime, and supporting uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities

*Electrical Maintenance*
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines and ensure timely restoration to minimize production downtime.
- Perform routine inspection of motors, electrical panels, control circuits, wiring systems, and utility equipment.
- Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities for corrective action.

*Panel & Electrical System Maintenance*
- Execute panel wiring, cable termination, and electrical connections as per electrical drawings and standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MCC panels, LT panels, motor starters, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical components used in production machinery and utilities.




- Assist in identifying and rectifying faults in sensors, switches, and machine control systems.

*Machine & Utility Maintenance*
- Perform maintenance of electrical motors, air compressors, lighting systems, and other utility equipment.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and trial activities from an electrical maintenance perspective.
- Ensure proper operation of plant electrical systems to support uninterrupted production.

*Preventive Maintenance & Documentation*
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules as planned and maintain maintenance records.
- Update machine history cards, breakdown reports, maintenance logs, and PM checklists.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance activities and proper documentation.

*Safety & Housekeeping*
- Follow electrical safety procedures, LOTO practices, and company EHS requirements.
- Use proper PPE while performing maintenance activities.
