Role Summary
The Senior Workforce Software Specialist is responsible for the configuration, optimization,
and support of the Workforce Software (WFS) platform across the organization. This role
works closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT to ensure accurate time capture,
scheduling, and compliance with labor and pay rules. The specialist provides expert-level
guidance, manages enhancements, resolves complex issues, and ensures the system scales
effectively with business needs.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end configuration and maintenance of WFS Time & Attendance.
Analyze and translate business requirements into system configurations aligned with
pay rules, schedules, accruals, and compliance.
Coordinate system releases, regression testing, validation cycles, and updates to
configuration or documentation.
Identify process improvements and automation opportunities within WFS
workflows.
Create and maintain functional documentation and SOPs.
Train HR teams, supervisors, and end users on recent functionalities and best practices.
Must-Have Technical Requirements
3–5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting WorkForce Software.
Workforce Software Certifications: PT102, PT120, PT125.
SQL or Oracle experience for data queries, troubleshooting, reports, and validation.
Experience with WFS scripts (creation, modification, debugging).
Expertise in policy profiles, policy sets, pay codes, exceptions, complex premiums
rules & TCP, banks, accruals, holidays, labor distribution, work rules, combination
rules, schedules, time off requests, In/Out policy, rounding & gracing, etc
Experience with integrations (Scripts, API, flat files, SFTP).
Ability to execute testing and validation for system changes.
