We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Engineer to build and enhance enterprise-scale data ingestion, validation, and event-driven processing platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, FastAPI, data processing, and backend services that support high-volume data ingestion and validation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Python-based services for file ingestion and data processing.
- Build validation frameworks for schema checks, data quality rules, mandatory field validations, and business rule enforcement.
- Develop file parsing solutions for Excel and structured data formats.
- Implement duplicate detection and master data validation logic.
- Build row-level error reporting and validation output mechanisms.
- Integrate with SFTP systems for file transfer and metadata management.
- Develop REST APIs using FastAPI.
- Build and maintain event-driven services for workflow orchestration and notifications.
- Integrate with PostgreSQL and Redis for backend processing.
- Implement logging, monitoring, error handling, and observability best practices.
- Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to optimize ingestion pipelines.
