Senior Consultant Business Analyst (Category Insights)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Category Insights Analyst with 5+ years of experience in the CPG/FMCG industry. In this role, you will partner with Category, Sales, and Customer teams to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making and business growth.The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, expertise in category and customer analytics, and hands-on experience working with syndicated market data sources such as Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, or IRI. You should be able to transform complex datasets into actionable recommendations and communicate insights effectively to business stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Insights
- Collaborate with Category, Sales, and Customer teams to understand business requirements and analytical needs.
- Analyze category, customer, and market performance to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Develop category scorecards, performance dashboards, and business review presentations.




- Support Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and range review discussions with actionable insights.
- Translate analytical findings into explicit business recommendations to support commercial decision-making.

Category & Customer Analytics
- Perform assortment, distribution, pricing, and space analysis to optimize category performance.
- Monitor key category and customer KPIs and track action plans.
- Leverage syndicated market data (Nielsen, Circana, Kantar, IRI, etc.) alongside internal sales and commercial data.
- Identify customer, category, and market opportunities through data analysis and trend evaluation.

Stakeholder Management
- Partner with Category Managers, Sales teams, Customer teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and business workshops.
- Present insights, recommendations, and business perform
