About the Role
: We are looking for a Senior Associate to help lead IVCA's VC Ecosystem initiatives. This is a senior, high-ownership role for someone who wants to work at the intersection of venture capital, policy, and institution-building. You will drive IVCA's flagship initiatives, council relationships, government engagement, and research agenda - working closely with the IVCA leadership, top management of VC firms, government bodies, and regulators to shape and scale the programs that define India's VC ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
: Flagship Initiative Ownership: Own end-to-end planning and execution (0→1) of IVCA's flagship initiatives - including the Bharat DeepTech Summit, DII & Exits Forum, DII & DeepTech Roundtable, and IFSCA Fund Management Forum - covering agenda design, partnerships, speaker curation, delegate management, and post-event documentation.



Build these initiatives into recurring, scalable annual properties.

Council & Stakeholder Management
: Manage relationships with IVCA's councils, including the EM Council, DI Council, VC Council, and DeepTech SIG - coordinating meetings and calls, gathering member input, and translating council priorities into action (e.g., toolkits and policy notes for emerging managers). Serve as a trusted point of contact for senior stakeholders across VC/PE firms, driving ongoing 1:1 engagement with council members and IVCA leadership.

Government & Regulatory Engagement
: Build and maintain relationships with government bodies and regulators - including SEBI, DPIIT, IFSCA, RDIF, SIDBI, IRDAI, PFRDA, EPFO, BIRAC, DST, and others - representing IVCA in meetings and working groups. Drive policy engagement on issues affecting the VC ecosystem, such as access to domestic institutional capital and regulatory frameworks for emerging man
