Job Summary

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Design Engineer to join its Transformer Division. The ideal candidate should have extensive expertise in the design and development of Dry Type, Cast Resin, and Power Transformers. The role requires strong technical knowledge, design optimization skills, and experience in preparing engineering drawings while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Dry Type, Cast Resin, and Power Transformers as per customer requirements and applicable standards.
- Prepare detailed design calculations, engineering drawings, GA drawings, and manufacturing documents.




- Perform electrical, mechanical, and thermal design calculations.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, IEEE, and other relevant industry standards.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement, and testing teams for smooth project execution.
- Optimize transformer designs to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Review technical specifications, tender documents, and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support to the sales, production, and testing departments.
- Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and testing.
- Participate in product development, design improvements, and value engineering initiatives.

Required Skills
- 10–20 years of experience in the design of Dry Type, Cast Resin, and Power Transformers.
- Solid knowledge of transformer design principles, magnetic circuits, insulation systems, and cooling methods.
