About the Role

The Head Mechanical – ESL will be responsible for ensuring effective mechanical maintenance across plant equipment and common services, driving asset reliability, and improving equipment utilization through structured maintenance practices.

Responsibilities
- Ensure effective mechanical maintenance across plant equipment and common services.
- Drive asset reliability and improve equipment utilization through structured maintenance practices.
- Identify system gaps and implement cost optimization and maintenance efficiency initiatives.
- Optimize manpower, spares, and consumable usage to achieve benchmark performance levels.
- Implement digital tools and Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) for predictive maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory compliance, and HSE practices.
- Lead manpower planning, capability building,



and team development initiatives.
- Oversee utility operations, oxygen plant, railway services, engineering shop, and heavy equipment maintenance.
- Execute business plans to meet production targets with focus on safety, quality, and cost.
- Drive maintenance strategy using RCA, CBM, and asset optimization frameworks.

Qualifications:
B. Tech/B.E in (Mechanical)

Experience
: 18-20 years

Required Skills
- Solid mechanical engineering background.
- Proven experience in maintenance management.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with digital tools and predictive maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
