About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable faculty member to teach Discrete Structures & Theory of Logic to undergraduate Computer Science students. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in discrete mathematics, logic, and theoretical computer science, with the ability to deliver engaging lectures and mentor students in developing analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and problem-solving sessions for Discrete Structures & Theory of Logic.
- Teach core topics including:
- Propositional & Predicate Logic
- Logical Equivalence and Inference
- Proof Techniques
- Sets, Relations, and Functions
- Mathematical Induction
- Recurrence Relations
- Counting Principles
- Permutations & Combinations
- Graph Theory
- Trees
- Boolean Algebra
- Algebraic Structures
- Introduction to Automata Theory
- Prepare lesson plans, lecture notes, assignments, quizzes,
and examinations.
- Conduct tutorial sessions and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Mentor students in academic projects, coding competitions, and research activities.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic reviews, faculty meetings, and departmental initiatives.
- Stay updated with advancements in theoretical computer science and modern teaching methodologies.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance curriculum delivery and student learning outcomes.
Required Skills
