ProBpm inc. is a staffing and consulting management platform serving U.S.-based IT staffing and consulting firms. We're hiring a detail-oriented legal/compliance professional to own two connected areas of our business: vendor and client contract risk management, and U.S. immigration compliance tracking (H-1B, Green Card/PERM, OPT/STEM OPT, I-9, and E-Verify)

Significant note on scope:

This role does not independently practice U.S. law or issue final legal advice only attorneys licensed in the relevant U.S. jurisdiction can do that. You will work closely with our outside U.S. immigration and corporate attorneys, conducting first-pass review, risk analysis, and compliance tracking, then escalating issues that require a licensed attorney's sign-off. Over time, this role will become the central point of coordination between our internal team and our U.S. legal counsel.

What You'll Do

Contract Review & Risk Management

Review vendor/subcontractor (Corp-to-Corp) staffing agreements, client MSAs and SOWs, NDAs, IP assignment clauses, and offer letters





Identify and flag risk areas (liability, indemnification, termination, non-compete/non-solicit, IP ownership, payment terms, immigration-related clauses)

Maintain a contract risk register/tracker with severity ratings and recommended mitigations

Draft markup/redline suggestions for attorney review; track negotiation history and final executed terms

Build and maintain standardized contract templates and clause libraries in partnership with counsel

U.S. Immigration Compliance

Track and manage compliance timelines for H-1B (including cap-gap/240-day rule monitoring), Green Card/PERM, OPT, and STEM OPT cases

Support I-9 completion accuracy and Section 2/3 reverification tracking across employee categories (H-1B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, H-4 EAD, GC EAD, etc.)

Manage E-Verify case creation, TNC tracking, and resolution timelines

Maintain PERM labor certification documentation, including audit file retention and rejection rea
