Role Description
The Manager/Dy. Manager SMS Store is a full-time, on-site role based in Sambalpur, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the SMS (Steel Melting Shop)



store. This role includes managing inventory levels, monitoring material receipts and issues, ensuring accurate documentation, and coordinating with production, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain timely availability of critical spares and consumables. The position involves implementing and maintaining store processes, conducting periodic stock audits, optimizing space utilization, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and company policies. The Manager/Dy. Manager will lead and train store staff, resolve operational issues, and use data and reporting to improve efficiency, minimize stock-outs, and reduce material losses.
