We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to lead our procurement activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, vendor development, negotiation, inventory planning, and procurement of industrial raw materials.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end procurement activities.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts.
Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, and spare parts.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production.
Prepare purchase budgets and cost-saving initiatives.
Analyze market trends and identify alternate suppliers.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Lead and mentor the purchase team.
Prepare MIS reports and procurement analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (MBA/PGDM preferred)
10+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
Experience in Manufacturing/Steel/Metal Industry preferred.
Robust negotiation and analytical skills.
Excellent knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and procurement systems.
