Job Summary

The Deputy Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and support services. This role ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of IT operations while aligning technology initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & Operations
- Manage and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and performance of IT systems.
- Oversee data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

2. User Support & Helpdesk
- Lead IT support team to resolve user issues promptly.
- Monitor helpdesk performance and ensure SLA compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to end users.

3. Security & Compliance
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Manage access controls, antivirus, patching, and vulnerability assessments.
- Ensure compliance with corporate, legal, and audit requirements.

4. Software & Licensing
- Manage software procurement, licensing, and renewals.
- Oversee ERP, Office 365,



and other business applications.
- Coordinate with vendors for support and upgrades.

5. Project Management
- Plan and execute IT projects (infrastructure upgrades, migrations, new systems).
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Track progress, budgets, and timelines.

6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with ISPs, service providers, and hardware vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and manage SLAs.
- Communicate with management on IT strategy and performance.

7. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage IT budgets.
- Optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
- Evaluate new technologies

Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–10 years of IT experience with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Robust knowledge of networking, firewalls, servers, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and enterp
