The Area Sales Officer (ASO) for Delhi NCR location is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing distributor and retailer relationships within the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, increasing product availability, executing promotional activities, and ensuring excellent customer service in the toys category.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Appoint and manage distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
- Increase product distribution and visibility across toy stores, gift shops, supermarkets, stationery stores, and contemporary trade outlets.
- Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Ensure proper merchandising, product placement, and branding at retail outlets.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance and competitor activities.
- Implement trade promotions, schemes, and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain strong relationships with distributors and key retail partners.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the supply chain team to prevent stock shortages.
- Collect payments and ensure adherence to company credit policies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Resolve customer complaints and provide timely support.
- Gather market intelligence on new products, pricing, and consumer trends.
