We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Engineer to ensure the productive functioning, maintenance, and safety of all biomedical equipment within the hospital. The role involves equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, vendor coordination, documentation, procurement support, and staff training to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Electronics Engineering
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of biomedical equipment. 2. Attend breakdown calls, conduct daily rounds, and maintain inspection checklists.
2. Carry out preventive maintenance (PMS), calibration, and maintain service/calibration records.
3. Update asset inventory, asset coding, breakdown register, TAT, stock, scrap, oxygen monitoring, transfer, AMC/CMC, and incident records.
5.Coordinate with vendors for procurement of biomedical equipment, consumables, disposables, and surgical instruments.
6. Monitor, renew, and negotiate AMC/CMC contracts.
7. Train clinical staff on equipment operation, safety, and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and hospital asset management systems is an advantage.
9. Sound knowledge of biomedical devices such as patient monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, defibrillators, ECG machines, anesthesia workstations, imaging systems, and laboratory analyzers.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
