About the Role:-

We are looking for a detail-oriented
Merchandising Assistant

to support our Apparel Supply Chain team by managing end-to-end shipment coordination, inventory tracking, import documentation, and merchandising operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the
apparel/fashion industry

, with exposure to ocean freight, customs clearance, 3PL coordination, and inventory management.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products move efficiently from suppliers to warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:-

Freight & Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate ocean and air freight bookings with freight forwarders and shipping partners.
- Track shipment status and proactively monitor ETAs.
- Review shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, and commercial documentation.




- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely dispatch of shipments.

Customs & Import Operations
- Coordinate customs clearance activities and maintain required import documentation.
- Work with customs brokers and freight partners to ensure smooth clearance.
- Verify HS codes, duty-related documentation, and shipment compliance.
- Resolve documentation discrepancies to avoid shipment delays.

Inventory & Warehouse Coordination
- Coordinate with 3PL warehouses regarding shipment arrivals and inventory intake.
- Track inventory movement and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records across warehouses and ERP systems.
- Monitor SKU, size, colour, and variant-level inventory.

Merchandising & Purchase Order Support
- Assist in raising and updating Purchase Orders (POs).
- Maintain product master data, costing, quantities, colour variants, and delivery schedules.
- Support seasonal mercha
