- Oversee daily operations of the laboratory including planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities.
- Conduct various chemical analyses and experiments to support research and product development.
- Manage a team of chemists and technicians by providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and troubleshoot issues.
- Develop and validate current test methods to improve efficiency and accuracy of results.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations based on findings.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in a chemical laboratory setting.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
- Experience in supervising a team and leading projects from conception to completion.
- Proficiency in analytical instruments, data analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
