As a Software Development Engineer 1 in our organization, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Django framework and Python. You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to contribute to the growth and success of our software projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Web Development: Design and develop web applications using Python and the Django web framework.
- Frontend Integration: Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure smooth integration of user interfaces with backend logic.
- Database Management: Work with databases, including but not limited to PostgreSQL, to store and manage application data.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices, and actively participate in code reviews.
- Testing: Create and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and quality of the software.
- Documentation: Maintain explicit and up-to-date documentation of the codebase, APIs, and application architecture.
- Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and bugs as they arise during development.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, quality assurance engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality web applications.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in Python, Django, and web development technologies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
