- System level understanding of small satellite programmes, preferably across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience in space Telecom, Optical Earth Observation or Navigation applications.
- Technical delivery of complex systems, software and/or electronic hardware.
- Working in and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience with CubeSat build and test.
- Good understanding of mechanical & electrical hardware integration.
- Good understanding of the cable, connectors, & harness interface with instruments.
- Ability to investigate and resolve system-level problems.
- Hands-on engineering experience, proficient with lab test equipment.
- Exposure of the cable harness routing & interface.
- Spacecraft AIT and/or operations.
- Familiarity with standard tests for spacecraft AIT campaigns.
- Knowledge of Space Standards (i.e. ECSS, MIL-STD-1540).
- Knowledge of ESD phenomena and best practices to prevent ESD, surface cleaning and preparation processes would be a bonus.
- Robust understanding of test campaigns and ability to quickly and accurately document test reports and results. Good understanding of satellite environmental testing is required.
