Perform advanced statistical analysis and develop machine learning models by collaborating closely with analytics teams, including data engineers and senior data scientists. Interface with clients and drive end-to-end model implementation of analytics solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and lower costs. Emphasis on addressing analytics challenges in heavy manufacturing, including optimizing processes and predictive maintenance
Skills:
- Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in analytics roles. Direct involvement in Manufacturing/ associated domains is a plus.
- Experience in building and deploying data science models (e.g., Random Forest, Clustering, K-means etc.).
- Solid command of Python is essential; knowledge of SQL is highly preferred.
- Experience working with large database systems such as MS SQL Server, or Oracle is valued.
- Intellectual curiosity, along with excellent problem-solving and quantitative skills (including the ability to disaggregate issues, identify root causes and recommend solutions) are musts.
- Strong people skills, team-orientation, and a professional attitude are musts.
Education:
Bachelors degree in quantitative field like Computer Science/ Engineering/ Statistics/ Data Science or related field required. Advanced degree/ diploma in Data Science is a plus.
