Role Description
The Designer role at Divyani Couture is a full-time, in office position based in Goa, India. The Designer will develop concepts and designs for premium ethnic wear, particularly kurtis,



that align with the brand’s aesthetic and customer expectations. Daily responsibilities include sketching and refining designs, selecting fabrics and trims, working closely with artisans on embroidery and detailing, and ensuring quality and fit across size ranges. The role involves collaborating with the production and merchandising teams to turn designs into market-ready collections, participating in sample reviews, and making iterative improvements based on feedback. The Designer will also contribute to lookbooks, styling for photoshoots, and creative input for upcoming collections and platforms.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in fashion design and garment construction for ethnic and fusion wear, with a focus on kurtis and related silhouettes.
