Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our physical and virtual IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in server administration (Windows, Linux, and MacOS), networking, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/Proxmox), cloud (AWS), automation tools, security, and application hosting. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems and services across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and monitor physical and virtual servers, desktops, and laptops.
- Manage network devices including firewalls, switches, routers, and GSM gateways.
- Configure and troubleshoot firewall, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and routing policies.
- Implement and manage backup/restore solutions for VMs, databases, and applications.
- Manage virtualized environments (VMware ESXi 8, Proxmox, Hyper-V).
- Administer NAS/SAN storage and RAID configurations.
- Deploy and monitor web applications on IIS, Apache, and Nginx servers.
- Install and manage databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Handle patch management and system updates for servers and network devices.
- Manage and integrate VoIP/SIP solutions with Asterisk servers.
- Monitor infrastructure using ELK Stack, Zabbix, NewRelic, Grafana with Slack/email alerts.
- Support Office 365 and Google Workspace
