Job Summary

The FB Service Captain is responsible for supervising the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, or banquet service, ensuring excellent guest satisfaction, productive service delivery, and adherence to the hotels service standards. The role involves leading the service team, coordinating with the kitchen, and ensuring smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the FB service team.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Brief the service team before each shift and assign work responsibilities.
- Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall restaurant ambiance.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely preparation and service of food and beverages.
- Welcome guests, assist with seating, and recommend menu items when required.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs, hygiene, food safety,



and grooming standards.
- Monitor stock levels of service equipment, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and operating supplies.
- Assist in training and mentoring stewards and associates to improve service standards.
- Ensure proper billing procedures and accurate handling of guest checks.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during events and peak hours.
- Prepare daily operational reports and communicate shift updates to management.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving departmental sales and guest satisfaction targets.
