Roles and Responsibilities:
- Proficient in Design & Development of Complete Seating Systems (Seats).
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements of North America (FMVSS), Europe (ECE), and other regions.
- Developing & maintaining of DFMEA, Engineering open issues list.
- Good knowledge of seat comfort / craftsmanship requirements and evaluations.
- Good knowledge of seat trim cover design and development.
- Preparing DVP and understanding of various OEM specific requirements.
- Proficiency in the design of Sheet metal Components, foam pads, plastics and mechanisms integration.
- Product feasibility study & development of new parts in co-ordination with plant team & Supplier.
- BOM creation, 2D drawings, manufacturing drawings.
- RFQ and costing of recent projects.
- Knowledge of PDM & PLM.
- Mentoring of the junior engineers in the team and conducting performance appraisals.

Job Requirements:
- 2-6 years of experience.
- BE Mechanical/Automobile.
- Strong experience in Complete Seat Design & Development.
- Knowledge of automotive seating systems, design processes, and engineering requirements.
- Experience with CAD design tools, product development, and manufacturing documentation.
