Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical
Associate Manager - Finance
to join our team. This hands-on role blends core accounting operations, controllership, and statutory compliance with financial planning & analysis (FP&A;) and audit support. You will lead deliverables through a small team and external partners in a rapid-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Month-End Close:
Own the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, executing journal entries in accordance with GAAP.
- General Ledger (GL) & Reconciliations:
Maintain GL integrity, manage chart of accounts, and perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations (bank, AR/AP sub-ledgers, fixed assets, deferred revenue, etc.).
- Transactions & Accruals:
Prepare and review accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, expense allocations, intercompany transactions, and payroll entries.
- AR/AP Cycle Oversight:
Manage revenue recognition, aging analysis, billing validation, vendor accruals, expense cutoff testing, and payment runs.
- Audit & Regulatory Support:
Assist in trial balance preparation and lead sheets; support statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Budget Consolidation:
Drive and consolidate annual budgets and forecasts across business units.
- Analysis & Insights:
Perform variance analysis, track KPIs, and deliver actionable performance commentary to drive business decisions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

- Experience:
1
–3 years
of post-qualification experience in accounting, controllership, or finance roles.
- Industry:
Prior experience in SaaS, technology product, or service-based organizations is preferred.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
- Working knowledge of
US GAAP
is a must.
