Roles and Responsibility
- Knowledge of Quality Systems to Implement and maintain quality management systems requirements as per IATF 16949 and procedures.
- Oversee quality across various manufacturing processes (e.g., Welding, painting and assembly).
- Knowledge in Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement robust corrective actions for internal and external quality issues.
- Act as a liaison with OEMs/Tier-1 customers, manage audits, and resolve field quality issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for defect reduction, process efficiency, and a zero-defect culture.
- Need to Build, mentor, and manage the plant's quality team.
- Solid in Data Analysis and Monitor quality KPIs and present reports to management.
- Knowledge in Supplier Quality: Manage incoming material quality and supplier compliance.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Automotive Standards: Deep knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
- Leadership: Strong people management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical: Experience in relevant manufacturing processes (e.g., Welding, Painting and assembly).
- Analytical: Ability to analyze data and drive results.
