GISA Retail Pvt. Ltd. is the company behind Tash Hair, one of India's fastest-growing premium hair styling appliance brands. Our products are sold across Amazon, Nykaa, Tira, Myntra, Blinkit, and our own website.

As we scale our manufacturing operations in India, we are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to establish and lead the quality function for our assembly plant.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in the manufacturing of hair styling appliances, personal care appliances, or small consumer electrical products and wants to take ownership of building a world-class quality system.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC).
- Establish quality standards, inspection procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Develop inspection checklists and acceptance criteria for all components and finished products.
- Manage quality approval for imported components from China and locally sourced materials.
- Conduct root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram,



Pareto Analysis, FMEA, and CAPA methodologies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, warranty claims, and customer complaints.
- Develop supplier quality systems and work with vendors on corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan and execute reliability testing, product validation, and durability testing.
- Ensure compliance with BIS requirements, internal quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Maintain complete batch traceability, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
- Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Procurement, and Product Development teams to improve manufacturing quality.

Required Experience
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering within consumer electrical appliances or electronics manufacturing.
