Architect I Hybrid Infrastructure (VMware Azure Local + Cloud)

About the Role

The Hybrid Infrastructure Presales Architect is responsible for designing, positioning, and articulating end-to-end hybrid solutions across on-premise (VMware/Azure Local) and public cloud platforms (primarily Azure, with AWS exposure as a plus).

This role works closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams to support the full presales lifecycle from discovery and assessment to solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to understand customer business, infrastructure, and cloud transformation requirements
- Lead discovery workshops, infrastructure assessments, and hybrid readiness evaluations
- Design end-to-end hybrid architectures combining:
- VMware (vSphere, vSAN, NSX)
- Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI
- Azure public cloud services
- Develop solution documentation including architectures, SOWs, BOMs, and RFP/RFI responses




- Present complex hybrid and cloud solutions to both technical and executive stakeholders
- Support migration strategies including datacenter modernization, cloud migration, and workload optimization
- Ensure alignment between presales commitments and delivery capabilities
- Contribute to reusable solution offerings, reference architectures, and go-to-market assets
