Job Title: Sr Accountant

Location: Salt Lake Sector V, Kolkata

Job Type: Full-Time (Work from Office)

Salary: Up to ₹25,000 per month (Negotiable based on last drawn salary and interview performance)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Salt Lake Sector V. The ideal candidate will take ownership of our day-to-day accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance. You must have hands-on experience dealing with Income Tax, GST, TDS, and payroll compliances.

Key Responsibilities:

Income Tax Returns: Independently prepare and file Income Tax Returns across all categories (ITR 1 to 7).

GST Compliance: Handle the complete GST cycle, including data reconciliation and timely filing of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B. Prepare and file annual returns and reconciliation statements (GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C).

Tax Audits: Prepare schedules and documentation required for Tax Audits, with a strong understanding of the requirements for Form 3CD, 3CA, and 3CB.

TDS Management: Ensure accurate calculation, timely deduction, monthly challan payments,



and quarterly filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).

Payroll & Statutory Compliance: Manage monthly calculations, timely challan generation, and return filings for PF (Provident Fund) and ESIC.

General Accounting: Maintain day-to-day books of accounts, perform regular bank reconciliations, and ensure financial data accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education: Graduation (B.Com or related financial degree preferred).

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in a similar role handling the statutory requirements mentioned above.

Skills:

Solid practical knowledge of ITR, GST, TDS, PF, and ESIC portals.

Familiarity with Tax Audit procedures.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime) and MS Excel.

Work Schedule:

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.
